She finished her DNB residency in ophthalmology from the esteemed Sankar Nethralaya, Chennai in 2008.

Being an academician has presented many papers in state and national conferences, as well as taken part in CME to teach postgraduates.
She has a keen interest in congenital glaucomas and secondary glaucomas.
Worked experience
She worked as a senior resident at JPM Rotary eye hospital, Cuttack.
Her special interest in Glaucoma took her to Aravind eye hospital for a long term fellowship in glaucoma from 2011-2013.
She has also worked in community eye hospitals as visiting glaucoma specialist and was part of many community outreach programmes for general awareness of glaucoma.
She is currently working in Bhubaneswar at Kar vision eye hospital, as a consultant Glaucoma specialist and cataract surgeon.
